Installing your BamBed for the F-150 is simple—no tools, no hardware, no headache. Put one leg on each side insert the stiffeners into the cutouts, then position the three panels so they rest securely on the legs. Just drop them in and you’re done.

Sliders

These heavy duty sliders let you easily store your gear underneath no need to lift or remove anything. They’re low-profile, strong, and built for real use in the back of your truck. If you want faster access and a more organized setup, these are a solid upgrade.

Load Capacity

The BamBed has a load capacity of 1500lbs. This robust capacity ensures that you can safely carry a wide range of gear, equipment, and supplies without compromising strength or stability.

Is it weatherproof?

BamBeds are built to withstand tough conditions and endure alongside your vehicle, but they are not fully weatherproof. They are designed to handle various weather elements and rugged use, making them durable for most scenarios.

If you’re particularly concerned about exposure to wet environments—such as when not under a camper shell, or if exposed to fish guts or soaking wetsuits—consider coating your boards with a water-based polyurethane sealant for added protection.

For bamboo components, we use mineral oil during the initial finishing to protect against moisture and enhance the material’s color. If you notice your bamboo starting to fade, reapplying basic mineral oil can help restore its finish.
