Inspiration

After reading numerous DIY build websites and scouring tacomaworld, it became clear to me that most people build sleeping platforms that are unnecessarily heavy and very use specific; they severely limit the number of uses for their truck by doing so. I created BamBeds for my fellow Tacoma owners to provide a more minimalist approach to building a truck camping rig. The BamBeds Modular Sleeping Platform is something that we tried several years ago and it's been a key piece of our home away from home ever since.  It has enabled my wife and I to travel all over North America. Some of our favorite places to visit are Death Valley, anywhere on the Baja Peninsula and Southwestern Colorado.
